Security camera and CCTV installation for Toronto businesses
Cablify designs and installs IP security camera systems for warehouses, offices, retail stores and industrial sites. We supply the cameras, run the cabling, set up recording and remote viewing, and hand over a system that is tested and documented.

Surveillance cameras for the building you run
Every building has different blind spots. These are the three kinds of sites we work in most, and what a commercial security camera system usually has to cover in each.
Warehouses and industrial sites
Loading docks, aisles, yards, fence lines and vehicle gates. We use long-range and wide-angle cameras that suit high ceilings and long sight lines, and run fiber or Cat6A to reach the far end of the building. See CCTV for warehouses.
Retail stores
Entrances, exits, cash desks and high-value shelves, with remote viewing for owners who run more than one location. More on our CCTV installation page.
Offices and corporate buildings
Lobbies, server rooms, parking and restricted areas, installed neatly so the cameras do not take over the space. We tie cameras into Kantech and Honeywell access control.
Brands and systems we install
Cablify is an Authorized Axis Camera Partner in the Toronto area. We also supply and install Hikvision, Dahua, Honeywell, Bosch and Hanwha. If your project needs NDAA-compliant equipment, tell us at the start and we will specify brands that meet it.
We pick the camera for the job, from standard IP domes to 4K, multi-sensor and PTZ models with video analytics. The goal is the right equipment for your site and budget, which is often not the most expensive one.
- IP, 4K and HD-over-coax camera systems
- NVR, DVR and cloud recording
- Remote viewing on phone, tablet and PC
- PoE camera cabling in Cat6 or Cat6A
- Integration with access control and alarms
- After-hours and weekend installation
Types of security cameras we install
Dome cameras
The usual choice indoors for offices, retail and healthcare. Vandal-resistant, wide-angle and low-profile, in fixed or varifocal versions.
Bullet cameras
Long-range outdoor coverage for parking lots, perimeters and entrances, with infrared night vision and IP66 or IP67 weather ratings.
PTZ cameras
Motorized pan, tilt and zoom for yards, parking areas and large open floors, with preset positions and patrol routes.
Multi-sensor and 360° cameras
Several lenses in one housing that cover 180° or 360° from a single point. That means fewer cameras and fewer cable runs in lobbies, intersections and open floors.
AI and video analytics cameras
Cameras that detect people and vehicles, line crossing and loitering, count people and read licence plates. They raise far fewer false alarms than plain motion detection.
Covert cameras
Concealed cameras for cash handling, pharmacies and server rooms. Hidden cameras raise privacy questions in a workplace, so we go over where and how they can be used before we install one.

Why businesses choose Cablify as their security camera company
- Authorized Axis Camera Partner. We have access to the full Axis range and to manufacturer support when a warranty case comes up.
- One contractor for cameras and cabling. We pull the cable, run conduit, mount the cameras, set up the recorder and hand over a tested system. You do not have to coordinate a cabling contractor and a camera installer.
- 18+ years of commercial work in the GTA. We have installed CCTV in warehouses over 500,000 sq ft, multi-floor offices, healthcare facilities, manufacturing plants and retail chains.
- Our own technicians. Cablify is a licensed, insured, WSIB-covered contractor. Every job is done by our own employed, background-checked technicians and not by subcontractors.
- Paperwork at handover. You get camera location drawings, recorder settings, logins and user training.
What affects the cost of a security camera system
We do not sell fixed CCTV installation packages, because two buildings with the same number of cameras can need very different amounts of work. These are the things that move the price.
| Factor | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Number of cameras | Each camera needs a cable run, a mount and a channel on the recorder. |
| Camera type | 4K, PTZ, multi-sensor and analytics cameras cost more than standard fixed domes. |
| Cable distances and routes | Long runs, conduit and anything past 90 m, which needs fiber or a switch closer to the camera. |
| Mounting height and access | High warehouse ceilings and exterior walls usually need a lift. |
| Recording and storage | How many days of footage you keep, and at what resolution, sets the size of the recorder and drives. See how long to keep CCTV footage. |
| Existing equipment | Good cabling or coax that can be reused lowers the cost. |
| Working hours | After-hours or weekend installation to avoid disrupting your operations. |
After a free site assessment you get a fixed-price written quote, so there are no hourly surprises.

Security camera installation FAQ
How much does security camera installation cost in Toronto?
It depends on the number of cameras, the camera type, cable distances, mounting height and how much footage you store. Small systems for a single office or store are quick to price. Larger warehouse and multi-floor systems are quoted after a site visit. We give a fixed-price written quote after a free on-site assessment.
How many security cameras does my business need?
It depends on the layout, the number of entrances and exits and what you need to see. Retail stores usually cover entrances, cash desks and main aisles. Warehouses cover the perimeter, docks and key aisles. Offices cover entrances, reception, the server room and parking. We map coverage during the site survey before we recommend a number.
What is the difference between IP cameras and analog CCTV?
IP cameras send digital video over network cable. They offer up to 4K resolution, built-in analytics and remote viewing, and they are powered over the same cable (PoE). Analog CCTV uses coaxial cable and has lower resolution. Our new installations use IP cameras. If you have an older coax system, HD-over-coax can be a lower-cost step before a full move to IP.
How long does a commercial CCTV installation take?
A small 8-camera system on one floor typically takes one day. A 16 to 32 camera system across several floors or a warehouse typically takes two to four days. We can work after hours and on weekends so your operations are not disrupted.
Do I need a permit to install security cameras in Ontario?
Cameras on private commercial property generally do not need a building permit. Privacy law still applies. Businesses are expected to tell people they are being recorded, usually with signs, and to avoid areas where people expect privacy. Some industries have their own rules. We can advise on placement, but for legal questions you should check with a lawyer.
Can you integrate security cameras with our access control system?
Yes. We often install CCTV and access control as one project, so a door event can bring up the matching camera in your video software. We work with Kantech, Honeywell, Genetec and Axis. Doing both together shares the cabling and network rooms, which lowers the total cost.
Do you install home security cameras?
No. Cablify installs security camera systems for businesses only: offices, warehouses, retail, industrial and multi-tenant buildings.
